Please note that the ECP is a Windows 10 program. I know of no program that will allow it to be run on any other OS. There may be emulators that permit Apple to run Windows, and vise versa!
Sad to announce that The last Edward Coffey Project files that I will compile are now available for order. I've ventured into the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Privacy has become a concern!
The file was Jack Coffeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03649768599179736262noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9506080.post-27768284405656711382020-07-14T04:33:00.002-05:002020-07-14T04:33:35.159-05:00Recently Discovered Errors
I have just recently stumbled upon an error I made in placing individuals and families in an incorrect state and county.
No one has thus far reported the error but I want to let those of you who have purchased the Edward Coffey Project data, that it exists and I am now in the process of wading through my files in a major effort to correct that error.
The error occurred when I Jack Coffeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03649768599179736262noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9506080.post-28041846075074413252020-07-04T11:06:00.002-05:002020-07-04T11:06:27.221-05:00Virginia Marriages & Divorces
Between 1936 and 1988 a lot of Coffey men and women were married in the state of Virginia.
I just took a random sample from my Edward Coffey Project and counted the first 100 couples that married and divorced in that time frame. I found that all 100 of them had failed in their marriage.
Some remarried and again divorced. Some left the state after marriage and divorced elsewhere.
