I am well aquainted with Coffey Town. I am the great great grandaughter of John "Jack" Coffey. My father Wendell Holmes Coffey son of Ambrose and Mattie Coffey, now deceased in Mar. 1980. My mother is Virginia Crawford Coffey and is almost 99 years old. I attended Macedonia Methodist Church until I was 24 years old .My family moved to Rockbridge County I have some family history from my grandfather who told me about his great great grandfather who was in the priesthood in Ireland and came to America as he chose to marry a Baptist girl. Both of my greatgrand fathers (my mother and father side ) were in the civil war and in prison in Elmira NY and Maryland. e-mail bjablonka@united.net
